Unsure of where I stand, I’m just a simple man. Who’s fucked with the numbers but fell in love with the debt. The surroundings started sinking and my conscience finally said “We’re all broken records with intentions up our necks in this” I sunk through the floor and found myself in a crowded room. There was a river that smelled of whiskey so I dipped my head into its womb. I let the pretentious pretend and let the river enter my throat. I learned about their pasts and forgot about my own. They surrounded me: the industries, the seduction queen. They all surrounded me. We all stood still as the room began to spin. Then you got the chance to whisper through my ear into my skin “I want to feel you shake the earth” and in this time span the river goddess gave birth “I want to feel you”. Completely unsure of where I stand, I’m just a simple man. Who’s fucked with the numbers and fell in love with the debt. I WANT TO GO HOME; I WANT TO WAKE UP IN MY BED. Back to work young man before the fucking time runs out again. Back to work young man.
